Scheduling a Post
The HASTAC web development team has added an exciting new possibility to our HASTAC platform: the ability to schedule posts to automatically publish in the future! Similar to scheduling tweets or other social media posts using a third-party application, users can now choose to schedule posts in advance.
In this post, we will go through the steps necessary to schedule your post for publication in the future.
Please note! You cannot set publication dates for the past!
Log into your HASTAC account, and click on the “Post Content” button.
From the “Post Content” Menu, choose the type of post you’d like to share, and enter in your new content.
A new “Scheduling Options” settings area is now available on your “Edit Post” content authoring page (see below picture).
Using the calendar, choose a day for publication! To set a specific “Publish on Date” and/or “Unpublish on Date” click on the text field and use the calendar option or format your chosen date as “YYYY-MM-DD”.
After authoring your content and choosing all appropriate settings for sharing, click the ‘Publish’ button.

Your post will be automatically published to HASTAC between 7:00am – 8:00am Eastern Time (US).
